What is the process for moving into an apartment?
You will need to 1st apply online and pay a $50 application fee for background check purposes. Once we have ran a background check we will let you know that you are approved within 3 business days of receiving your application and $50 application fee payment.
You will then need to come into the office, sign a contract, and pay for the following:
- Lease initiation fee: $250
- Deposit : $400
- 1st Month’s Rent: Varies upon apartment pricing.
Once those have been paid and if your apartment is ready we will present to you your keys and a move-in packet.
What about parking fees?
Parking Passes are $50 for the 1st one and $30 for each additional pass. They last from the time you purchase them until the end of the calendar year. Parking passes will be added on move in.
Are your properties pet friendly?
We are pet friendly we use petscreening to process our pets in our community we do have breed restrictions which are on petscreening and we limit our pets to two animals per unit. Please fill free to visit liveatstonecrest.petscreening.com. Animal fees and deposit apply.
I’m getting errors on my online application?
Try using the calendar’s to fill in the dates rather than using text.
I can’t make a payment after my application has been submitted, what do I do?
That’s okay. You can come into the office and make a payment via check or debit card. We can accept credit cards but it comes with an extra $25 processing fee due to our processing company. We can’t take payments over the phone, however because of our processing company there are fees associated with those payments. For credit and debit cards that is $25 extra. For bank account numbers it is only 50 Cents extra.
How long do your leases last?
1 year.
What if I am buying someone’s contract?
The process is very similar to buying someone’s contract as it is for applying for a new apartment. You will still need to apply online and pay the $50 application fee. Once we have ran a background check we will let you know that you are approved within 3 business days of receiving your application. You will then work with the person selling their contract. Once an agreement has been reached between you and the seller you will come into the office, sign a contract and pay for the following:
- Lease initiation fee: $250
- Deposit : $400
- 1st Month’s Rent: Varies upon apartment pricing.
Contracts between sellers and buyers may vary on what is paid for but the lease initiation fee is always to be paid regardless of contract conditions.
